Kids sports sunglasses FAQ

Are sport sunglasses polarized?

No, on purpose. Polarized lenses can distort how some surfaces look, for example when reading the grass on a golf course, so our sport lenses are non-polarized to keep vision true for active play. They still block 100% of UVA and UVB. Looking for polarized? See our everyday kids sunglasses.

What size sport sunglasses does my child need?

Kids frames (117 mm wide) fit most children ages 3–7, and youth frames (125 mm wide) fit ages 7–12. Choose the size that fits now rather than one to grow into, because loose frames bounce and slide during play. See the size guide for how to measure.

Can kids wear these for ball sports?

Sunglasses are not protective sports eyewear. Our sport sunglasses are made for running, cycling, hiking and everyday outdoor play, and are not designed or tested for activities involving balls, racquets or other high-speed projectiles.
