What is TR90, and why does it matter?
TR90 is a lightweight, flexible frame material first developed in Switzerland, used by many premium sports and lifestyle eyewear brands. What it means for you:
- Feather-light. TR90 is lighter than polycarbonate and other standard plastic frames, so there's less pressure on the nose and ears. They're so light kids forget they're wearing them.
- Bends instead of breaking. It's more flexible than polycarbonate and other plastics, so it bends under stress and returns to shape instead of snapping. That's why it's a top choice for sports eyewear.
- Gentle on skin. It's hypoallergenic, BPA-free and metal-free, so it's safe for sensitive skin and metal allergies. There's no paint coating to chip or flake.
- Holds up to real life. It resists sweat, skin oils, sunscreen and heat better than standard plastics, so it won't warp or fade on a hot day outdoors.
- Soft-touch matte finish. TR90 has a smooth, rubber-like matte texture instead of the glossy shine of standard plastic frames. It's comfortable to hold and less slippery in sweaty hands.

Safety testing
- ANSI Z80.3-2018: Passed the US standard for nonprescription sunglasses, including impact resistance, flammability, frame finish and corrosion, lens optical quality, traffic signal recognition and resistance to radiation.
- UV400: Maximum UV transmittance under 0.1% from 280 to 400 nm, well below the 0.5% UV400 limit.
- Children's Product Certificate (CPC): Certified as a children's product under US CPSC requirements.

How to measure face width
- Have your child look straight ahead with a relaxed face.
- Hold a ruler or soft tape measure horizontally across the eyes.
- Measure from one temple to the other (the flat spots just outside the eyes, in front of the ears).
- Compare the number in millimeters with the "Fits face width" range for each size.
No ruler handy? Measure the front of a pair of glasses that already fits well, from hinge to hinge.
Reading the frame size
Frame sizes are written like 48□20-139: a 48 mm lens width, a 20 mm bridge (the gap between the lenses over the nose) and 139 mm temple arms. Every product page lists these under "Size & specs."

Care instructions
• Rinse under fresh running water, then wipe dry with the included rPET microfiber cloth.
• Always rinse after contact with pool water, salt water or sunscreen. Chlorine, salt and sunscreen chemicals can damage lens coatings.
• Don't use paper towels, clothing or household cleaners on the lenses.
• Store in the included protective case when not in use.
REVO (mirrored) lens care
Reflective REVO coatings need a little extra care:
• Handle gently and always use the microfiber cloth to avoid surface scratches.
• Keep away from harsh chemicals, including alcohol, hand sanitizer, sunscreen and insect repellent.
• Rinse right away after pool, sea or sunscreen exposure. Never wipe a dry, salty or sandy lens.

I finally got the silver one! It's very lightweight, I love it.
Satisfied. Doesn't press on the nose. Lightweight. Can't tolerate windy conditions if you have dry eyes. Also prevents small flying insects from hitting your eyes when running in the summer.
