Grown-up style, kid-proof build.

All the details you'd look for in your own eyewear: a semi-transparent frame, a premium matte soft-touch finish and a timeless round shape. Underneath, it's built for real kid life. The ultra-light Swiss TR90 frame bends when it's squeezed and springs back into shape. Polarized UV400 lenses protect your child's eyes from city streets to beach days.

Part of our Olivio Classic collection. Inspired by the Mediterranean's abundant sunshine and vibrant culture, it blends timeless style with modern elegance for outdoor living.

What is TR90, and why does it matter?

TR90 is a lightweight, flexible frame material first developed in Switzerland. Many premium sports and kids' eyewear brands use it. For your child, that means:

  • Feather-light. TR90 weighs about half as much as traditional acetate frames, so there's less pressure on the nose and ears. They're so light kids forget they're wearing them.
  • Bends instead of breaking. It's flexible and impact-resistant, so it bends under stress and pops back into shape. That's why it's a top choice for sports eyewear, active adults and kids.
  • Gentle on skin. It's hypoallergenic, BPA-free and metal-free, so it's safe for sensitive skin and metal allergies. There's no paint coating to chip or flake.
  • Holds up to real life. It resists sweat, skin oils, sunscreen and heat better than standard plastics, so it won't warp or fade on a hot car dashboard or a long beach day.
  • Soft-touch matte finish. TR90 has a smooth, rubber-like matte texture instead of the high-gloss shine of acetate. It's comfortable to hold and less slippery in little hands.

Why parents love them

  • 100% UV protection (UV400): Blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays up to 400 nm. Children's eyes let in more UV than adult eyes, so this matters most.
  • Semi-transparent frame: Soft, see-through color lets light through the frame for a fresh, modern look that's less heavy on small faces.
  • Premium matte soft-touch finish: Smooth and velvety in the hand. It isn't slippery or shiny, and it hides fingerprints and small scuffs better than glossy frames.
  • Bend-and-flex Swiss TR90 frame: Ultra-light and flexible enough to handle everyday kid life.
  • Built for drops and tumbles: The lenses are impact-resistant and meet the FDA impact requirement for sunglasses.
  • Stainless steel spring hinges: The arms flex outward, so the glasses survive being yanked on and off and keep a secure fit as faces grow.
  • Curved temples for a comfortable fit: The arms wrap gently around the ears, so the glasses stay put without pinching.
  • Polarized TAC lenses: Cut glare off water, sand, snow, and pavement for crisp, clear vision.
  • Category 3 lenses: Made for bright, sunny days. They let through only 8–18% of visible light.
  • Temple end rings: Rubber rings on the arm tips let you attach charms or a strap.
  • Award-winning design: Winner of the iF Design Award 2021 (Germany).
